Golden Apricot Bars Recipe

Golden Apricot Bars Recipe
2/3 cup dried apricots (cover with water and boil 10 minutes, drain)
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup butter
2 eggs
¼ cup sugar
½ cup walnuts
1 cup flour
1/3 cup flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
Mix together butter, sugar, and 1 cup flour. Pack into a 9x13 inch pan and bake 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Sift together remaining 1/3 cup flour, baking powder, and salt. In a bowl beat the 2 eggs with 1 cup brown sugar then add the flour mixture. Add the apricots and nuts. Spread over baked crust. Return to oven and back another 30 minutes longer. Sprinkle with powdered sugar after cooled.
